Michael is a co-founder and co-owner of Kelvin Financial Panning. Originally from Northern Ireland, he’s lived in Glasgow for 25 years after relocating to the city to go to University. Not long after arriving he met Jude, and now they’re married with three sons. Academically, Michael has a BA Hons in Financial Services. Professional qualifications and designations include Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Wealth Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments. After 25 years in Scotland, Michael has recently become a season ticket holder at Murrayfield where he enthusiastically follows Scotland.

Chris is also co-founder and co-owner of Kelvin Financial Panning. After attending school and university in Glasgow, Chris began working in financial services. In the past, he’s worked in consultant positions for companies such as Zurich and Scottish Widows. Chris holds a range of advanced qualifications including the level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers and the Society of Trustees and Estate Practitioners Financial Services Certificate. Chris lives in Polmont, Falkirk, and is married to Kate, and they have two children. In his spare time Chris enjoys golf, rugby, football, and spending time with his family.

Paul is a seasoned financial planner with over 30 years of expertise. Former owner of a successful Chartered Financial Planning firm in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Paul's commitment to excellence led to a successful acquisition by a national firm. As a Chartered Financial Planner, he specialises in creating and safeguarding wealth for clients, focusing on pensions, investment, inheritance tax, and legacy planning. “I’m passionate about what I do. It’s a pleasure and a privilege being entrusted to manage my client’s financial wellbeing, and I love nothing more than seeing their lifestyle goals and ambitions come true.” When not immersed in finance, Paul enjoys racketball, golf, long walks and holidays with his wife, Pamela, and their dogs, Toby and Skye.

Kirsteen joined Kelvin Financial Planning in April 2014, having recently graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Finance, Investment and Risk from Glasgow Caledonian University. Kirsteen holds her Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, supporting Michael and Leigh. Outside work, Kirsteen is kept busy with her two children. She enjoys keeping active and planning the next holiday to new places.

Leigh began her career in financial services administering occupation pension schemes before moving into Wealth Management in 2013. She joined Kelvin Financial Planning in July 2018 as a Client Services Administrator to provide support to Michael, as well as Michael’s paraplanner Kirsteen MacKay. Away from the office, Leigh is a dedicated mum of two and regularly braves the Scottish weather supporting Partick Thistle FC at Firhill with friends.

Betsy joined Kelvin Financial Planning in November 2023. Betsy has worked as a paraplanner for a number of years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Outside of work she enjoys keeping active and planning her next holiday, whether it be a short city break or a long-haul destination.

Lauren joined Kelvin Financial Planning in June 2018 and supports Chris as his Paraplanner. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Finance, Investment and Risk from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012, and has been working in the industry since graduating. Lauren holds her Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Outside work, Lauren is kept busy with her son and enjoys hillwalking and socialising with friends.

Debs joined Kelvin Financial Planning in December 2022 as administration support to Chris. Before this, she spent seven years with another IFA firm in a similar role. Outside of work Debs enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts and visiting new places. To relax, she enjoys snuggling up in front of the TV to watch a movie or reading a good book.
